Total Lunar Eclipse from Chatham Lighthouse

The reddish/orange totally eclipsed Moon with Mars and Spica above Chatham Lighthouse on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Taken around mid-totality at 3:41am EDT on April 15, 2014.  Custom limited edition 16"x24" prints of this image are available for sale.  Please email me if interested.

Hanging out with Jim Cantore

Waiting for the blizzard/Nor'easter while hanging out with famous meteorologist Jim Cantore from The Weather Channel. Having a great interest in meteorology since I was a kid growing up in the midwest (I once tried to chase a tornado), I've always admired Jim's passion since he started at TWC in the 1980's. He is truly a person that loves what he does. It was great meeting him and talking about the upcoming storm.  I hope to post some pics of the storm over the next few days.
