The Northern Lights from Cape Cod

The Northern Lights (aka the Aurora Borealis) made a rare appearance in the night sky above Cape Cod on May 18th.  I took these photos from Breakwater Beach in Brewster around 1:15am EDT.  The aurora is one of the most beautiful sights in nature and not to be missed!  I can't wait for the next display!

    Late at night and it only lasted about 30 minutes. I was going to post a notice on Facbook but then thought everyone would be in bed... ;-)
