Who says you can't view a rocket launch from Cape Cod. Tonight's launch
of the OA-5 mission showing the end of the second stage burn from the
Antares rocket carrying the Cygnus cargo freighter to the International
Space Station as viewed from Cape Cod, 400 miles northeast of the launch
pad at NASA's Wallops Island in Virginia. The unsuspecting couple
sharing a kiss on the beach was an added bonus to the shot.
Also, the photo appears on the front page of NASA's Spaceweather.com site!
