Jency & John - New Seabury Country Club

I'm finally getting some new weddings posted to the blog after a very busy July & August!   Jency and John were married at Christ the King church in Mashpee and had their beautiful reception at the New Seabury Country Club overlooking Vineyard Sound.  I always enjoy shooting at New Seabury since there are tons of cool photo ops and you get to ride in the golf carts down to the beach.... :)

You'll also see an "action" pic of yours truly that was taken by fellow photographer Michelle Bosch who was assisting me that day.  Thanks Michelle!

Hurricane Irene - August 28, 2011

Hurricane Irene moved up the east coast into New England on Sunday August 28, 2011.  These images were all taken in Chatham that morning.  The Chatham Coast Guard station had the hurricane flags flyin', which is a rare sight this far north and some business in town boarded up in preparation for the storm's arrival.  Luckily winds only topped out around 50-65mph.  Still strong enough to bring down tons of trees and branches but luckily no structural damage.  The highest wind gust on the Cape was recorded near Otis ANGB at 72mph.  The Cape was on the dry eastern side of the storm and received little to no rain.  Unlike our neighbors in Vermont and western New England, the Cape dodged the bullet again.

'Tis the Season

I've been neglecting the blog somewhat this summer so I promise to get some new weddings online soon! Its been a very busy season so far with nine beautiful weddings in the month of July alone!! Love it!!

Before I go back to shooting and editing, I thought I'd share a snap shot from Kristin & Nate's wedding on July 16th at Ocean Edge. Not often does the bride want photos of the photographer too...lol!! ;-) Kristin is one of my favorite brides of all time.... so hilarious! What a great shoot! Congratulations Kristin & Nate!!!

Angela & Brent - Beautiful Ocean Edge

Here are some pics from Angela & Brent's beautiful Ocean Edge wedding.  They were married in front of the Carriage House on the front lawn with the reception following inside.  The light that afternoon was just gorgeous as you can see.  Love it!  Congratulations guys..... glad you had such a spectacular day!

Jenni & Lou - Nobska Lighthouse

I loved these two shots from Jenni & Lou's wedding in Falmouth.  We stopped off at Nobska Lighthouse and I tried to capture more unique images by using the pure white sides of the lighthouse.  Something different...  :)

Liz & Chris - Wychmere Harbor Club

Here are some images from Liz & Chris' wedding at Holy Trinity Church in West Harwich and Wychmere Harbor Club in Harwich Port.  One top of being a beautiful wedding to photograph, the light that day was amazing........ so soft and perfect for photography.... I love these type days! :)  It was also great working with Karen Rood again... a true and talented professional!  Congratulations Liz & Chris!!!
