Cheryl & Tom - The Dennis Inn

Here are some of my favorites from Cheryl & Tom's beautiful wedding this summer at The Dennis Inn.  They had an amazing day with bright sunny skies and temps in the 80's... you can't get much better than that!!! :)  They were married at Immaculate Conception Chapel on Route 6A in Brewster with the reception at the amazing Dennis Inn.  We also stopped off at Corporation Beach for some fun beach pics.

If you're thinking about a Cape wedding, check out the Dennis Inn!  Brad & Cathy are great to work with and the food from Treats Catering is amazing!  Plus you get the whole property to yourself for the entire weekend.  It's like your own private retreat!

Just wanted to let you know that both Jimmy & I are beyond thrilled about how the wedding images turned out! They are so incredibly beautiful, there is no way we will ever be able to pick our favorites! You definitely captured the mood of the day, and seeing those images brought all of the wedding day emotions right back!

I would recommend you to anyone in a heart beat...you were so easy going and easy to be around on the big day, but you were also very professional and organized.

I hope you had fun during the day as well...you took such amazing shots at the beaches and Highland Light...like I said, we can't pick a favorite! And the Vineyard shots were amazing...ok so I could go on and on!

Jency & John - New Seabury Country Club

I'm finally getting some new weddings posted to the blog after a very busy July & August!   Jency and John were married at Christ the King church in Mashpee and had their beautiful reception at the New Seabury Country Club overlooking Vineyard Sound.  I always enjoy shooting at New Seabury since there are tons of cool photo ops and you get to ride in the golf carts down to the beach.... :)

You'll also see an "action" pic of yours truly that was taken by fellow photographer Michelle Bosch who was assisting me that day.  Thanks Michelle!

Hurricane Irene - August 28, 2011

Hurricane Irene moved up the east coast into New England on Sunday August 28, 2011.  These images were all taken in Chatham that morning.  The Chatham Coast Guard station had the hurricane flags flyin', which is a rare sight this far north and some business in town boarded up in preparation for the storm's arrival.  Luckily winds only topped out around 50-65mph.  Still strong enough to bring down tons of trees and branches but luckily no structural damage.  The highest wind gust on the Cape was recorded near Otis ANGB at 72mph.  The Cape was on the dry eastern side of the storm and received little to no rain.  Unlike our neighbors in Vermont and western New England, the Cape dodged the bullet again.

'Tis the Season

I've been neglecting the blog somewhat this summer so I promise to get some new weddings online soon! Its been a very busy season so far with nine beautiful weddings in the month of July alone!! Love it!!

Before I go back to shooting and editing, I thought I'd share a snap shot from Kristin & Nate's wedding on July 16th at Ocean Edge. Not often does the bride want photos of the photographer too...lol!! ;-) Kristin is one of my favorite brides of all time.... so hilarious! What a great shoot! Congratulations Kristin & Nate!!!
