This recent wedding at the Wequassett was out of this world! The
Milky Way galaxy glows on the right and the bright "star" on the left is
the planet Mars. Saturn is in there to, can you find it? Congratulations to Jacki & Zack!!

Molly & Patrick - Coonamessett Inn
Here's a favorite snap from Molly & Patrick's wedding at the
Coonamessett Inn in Falmouth. I just love the smile on her face as
she's dancing with her dad. It was originally shot in color but I think the b&w makes it timeless.
The view out over Jones Pond from the Inn makes for some great snaps as well. Congratulations!!

Galaxy Rise
I was in Truro teaching a workshop on Milky
Way and night sky photography back in July when we lucked out with one of the clearest nights of the year. It was insane. The transparency was superb. The structure in the Milky
Way was very apparent including the Northern Coal Sack. Here's a 180° panorama I took of our own galaxy rising above Highland
Lighthouse.

Sara & Nick - The Lighthouse Inn - Cape Cod Wedding
Two sneak peeks from Sara & Nick's wedding last Saturday at the
Lighthouse Inn. They wanted to capture a starry night sky photo so we grabbed
this star trail shot on the jetty during the reception. The brightest trail at the upper right is actually the planet Jupiter. I'm so glad the
weather cooperated. And check out the smokin' hot sunset!!!
Congratulations!

New Cape nightscapes
The weather has been tough for astrophotography lately but I have managed to get out a few times to capture some new pics. As always, prints are available for sale.
Here's the shipwreck Artemis in Provincetown. The Artemis broke loose from its mooring during one of the strong March Nor'easter's and ended up on the rocks of the nearby jetty.
Here's the Cygnus region of the summer Milky Way rising behind the old Nauset Coast Guard Station in Eastham.
