Alicia & Brian - Ocean Edge

After some light rain just before the ceremony and cloudy skies all afternoon, it wasn't looking good for a sunset photo for Alicia & Brian, but just minutes before the Sun dropped below the horizon, the clouds began to glow a beautiful purple.  Gotta love Cape Cod sunsets!

Jacki & Zack - Wequassett Night Sky Splendor

This recent wedding at the Wequassett was out of this world! The Milky Way galaxy glows on the right and the bright "star" on the left is the planet Mars. Saturn is in there to, can you find it?  Congratulations to Jacki & Zack!!

Molly & Patrick - Coonamessett Inn

Here's a favorite snap from Molly & Patrick's wedding at the Coonamessett Inn in Falmouth. I just love the smile on her face as she's dancing with her dad. It was originally shot in color but I think the b&w makes it timeless.

The view out over Jones Pond from the Inn makes for some great snaps as well.  Congratulations!!

Galaxy Rise

I was in Truro teaching a workshop on Milky Way and night sky photography back in July when we lucked out with one of the clearest nights of the year. It was insane. The transparency was superb. The structure in the Milky Way was very apparent including the Northern Coal Sack. Here's a 180° panorama I took of our own galaxy rising above Highland Lighthouse.
