Capturing the High Sierra - Part 2

For you non b&w fans, here are some of my favorite color images.... including several sunrise shots of the Mammoth Crest.  One of the most magical experiences is to watch the sunrise on the high peaks of the Sierra.  The light at daybreak (and also at sunset) in the mountains is called 'alpenglow'.  Its warm soft light only lasts about 10 min and then its gone.
