Capturing the High Sierra - Part 4

I've always wanted to capture this view of the eastern Sierra.  When you're driving north up route 395 and approach the town of Mammoth Lakes, you are greeted by this scene.... I like it because of the contrast between high desert scrub brush in the foreground and the jagged snow capped peaks in the distance... it's just plain sweet imo.  One shot is a wide angle while the other has more telephoto workin'.  The wide angle is going big in the studio!  Which one do you like?

  1. They're both beautiful, but I prefer the top photo. The rays of light and seeing more of the creosote are more appealing to me.
