Capturing the High Sierra - Part 6

Again, from Minaret Summit at 9300ft, I captured some nightscape images of the Ritter Range.  This sub range of the Sierra is one of the most beautiful.... its high peaks are dominated by the jagged saw like 12,281 ft. Minarets on the left, Mt. Ritter at 13,157 ft. at center and 12,945 ft Banner Peak on the right. 

I actually tried the moonlit shot you see below, at bottom, back in 1995 on Fujicolor Super G 800 Plus film.  At the time, I thought the results were pretty good.... but now with digital, there's no comparison.... digital rules!
